Greatis teXtreme - Transparent Text Editor.teXtreme is tray-based utilitie that allows the individual to use consistent, intuitive commands to effect most of the standard changes (for example, find and replace phrases within a document or saved text clip insert) typically required in their working documents - regardless of which text editor is being used at the time. Any individual or business who find themselves using two or more text editors during a busy day, and who are frustrated with having to use different "rules" for each editor needs teXtreme. We encourage you to try teXtreme for free!While easily understood through use; it is difficult to describe. To use teXtreme select text in your text editor and press hot key to call main window that contains:- Replace: replace text in selected fragment in any text editor - QReplace: replace text by list of saved frequently used replace parameters - History: clipboard history - Collection: text clips collection - Change Case: quick Change Case in selected fragment - Char Map: insert any char into your text - Plug Ins: any additional text processing Choose operation then press OK and selected text in your editor will be processed!Detailed features:1) Show window (default hot key: Ctrl+[)You can call main window with last selected tab.2) Apply last (default hot key: Ctrl+])You can apply last operation to new selected block.These two actions can be called by click on the tray icon. Select the action in the properties dialog.3) Operations Menu (default hot key: Ctrl+/)You can call a popup menu which contains all operations.4) ReplaceYou can replace text while using any text editor - even simple one-line editors. Just select a text block in your editor, press the Replace hot key, enter text to find, text to replace, press OK and all "text to find" occurrences will be replaced in all selected area. All entered values are saved in the drop-down lists and can be reused. You can see the Replace result in the preview window.5) QReplaceFrequently used combinations can be saved in the QReplace list for easy reuse. To use the Replace settings select text block in your editor, press QReplace hot key, choose item in list and press OK. You can see the anticipated QReplace result in the preview window. Replace and QReplace can simplify the input of frequently repeating text. Insert a simple char (e.g. *) and replace it with your phrase (e.g. "Microsoft Windows"). If you use this phrase frequently, save it as a permanent item in the QReplace list. The number of entries is not limited, but the preview window displays only the first 32K.6) HistoryThe last 100 clipboard clips is saved in this list. Clips are sorted by time of last use. The list is displayed as one-line clips. You can save any clip to the Collection for reuse.7) CollectionA maximum of 100 frequently used clips can be saved in the Collection. By default, the Collection list is displayed as one-line clip text interpretation, but you can rename any clip for convenience. The named clips are indicated in bold. You can resort the list by move any item up and down.History and Collection can simplify the insertion of repeated text fragments. You can add or update the clip by directly editing its contents within the preview window and pressing the Update or Add toolbar button. To paste the clip to text, press History or Collection hot key, choose clip from list and press OK. Current clip contents is displayed in the preview window. Maximal clip size is 32K.8) Change CaseYou can select Change Case in the selected text block in your text editor. To use select text fragment, press Change Case hot key, choose the operation and press OK. You can see the result in the preview window. Max selected and processed block size is not limited, but the preview window displays the first 32K only.9) Char MapYou can paste your text using any char. To paste char, first press Char Map hot key, then choose char in the table and press OK. You can choose any available font from the font list in the toolbar of the char table display. At the bottom you can see the keystroke for direct char insert, and for char preview in four modes (regular, bold, italic, italic bold).
