The program has been designed as universal software for surveillance cross platforms working all together with wireless and wired IP cameras, TV-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the similar appearance and controls on the local and remote workstations. Users view MPEG-4 coded video and have full management of the program using network that security station can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular configuration considerably increases reliability because all modules proceed as autonomous applications. If one part freezes, other units go on working. For example if the `capture` module stops working, `watchdog` starts over it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are viewing video using a `playback` component. The program makes `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be triggered by motion, human face detection, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on distant pc using Web interface. The software makes simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
