The FTP Server API is a software development tool programmers can use to add FTP server or custom TCP/IP server support to C++ applications.

Knowledge of Winsock or network programming is not required to use the basic features of the API.

The shareware version allows full testing of both the standard and professional versions.

The FTP Server API full version is available in two editions:

• Standard Edition ($29.95)
• Professional Edition ($59.95)

• Full support for the RFC 959 FTP specification is implemented with the API.
• Allow or deny access to whomever you choose.
• Complete freedom is given for custom handling of FTP commands.
• Customize responses sent to FTP clients.
• Virtual root directories can be set up as desired on a case-by-case basis.

Custom Server Development Features (Professional Edition):

• Increase allocation for additional IOCP buffers as needed.
• Allow user-defined callback routines to handle I/O Completion Port data transmission through user calls to WSASend, WSARecv, etc.
• Preprocess all incoming data to the server.
• Sending of binary data to connected clients.
• Applications notified of sent data.

• Automatic usage of I/O Completion Ports on NT, 2000, or XP platforms.
• Screen IP addresses of new connections prior to accepting login attempts.
