The program has been created as common program for surveillance cross platforms functioning at the same time with wireless and wired Internet webcams, Television-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the same appearance and functionality on the local and distant pcs. Customers view MPEG coded video and have complete management of the program via network that security workstation can be run with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure considerably increases reliability because all parts proceed as independent applications. If one part freezes, other parts go on working. For instance if the `capture` part freezes, `watchdog` restarts it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture using a `playback` unit. The program performs `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by motion, human face detection, or by schedule. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on distant computer via Web interface. The program does synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple webcams at the same time. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
