Corporate password policies require users to change passwords from time to time (for example, every 3 months). Users located in the internal network inside an Active Directory domain can easily change passwords from the logon prompt without any hassles. Remote users logging in from home or on the road, or those who use non-Windows OSes (Unix, Mac, mobile devices), unfortunately don t have this ability.

NetWrix Web-based Password Reset for Active Directory is a FREE product that provides a simple and secure way of implementing self-service password changes through a web form. The product is free alternative to a full-featured self-service password management system. Users just navigate to a secure URL, enter name, old password, and new password and change password, all without an extra help desk call.
