eBC Secure Interface Model Over Network (SIMON)

eBC SIMON is a time and cost effective communication solution. It was designed with security and simplicity of use in mind. It allows for easy conversion of stand-alone applications into network and/or internet services. Integration with them can be performed within minutes with eBC SIMON client. All of it can be achieved without necessity of additional software development.

eBC SIMON allows to create automated interaction between incompatible systems and to convert stand-alone applications into LAN/WAN services. The automated interaction and the conversion of stand-alone applications into network and/or Internet services is done by utilizing command line interface of existing systems.

The heart of eBC SIMON is its command line RPC module. Command line interface is the most universal way of interacting with software systems. Thanks to its flexibility different types of systems can be accessed in a simple and automated way. The services and interfaces can be easily scripted and automated and will provide the same easy command line interface over LAN or WAN.

The built in encryption mechanism allows to send data securely over an insecure network. Both parties involved in the communication are secured. Every time a communication session is open it is encrypted with RSA public-private key and all data exchanged in the session is encrypted with AES symmetric key.

The built in compression mechanism compress data with ZLIB algorithm and the receiving end automatically decompress it.

Each LAN/WAN exposed service can have its own subset of users authorized to use it. This allows to create services, which are available only to a specific business or person.

To publish its services and interfaces eBC SIMON server automatically generates an HTML portal and allows users to view it with web browsers. eBC SIMON client is capable of discovering the server services and their interfaces automatically.
