This utility has the power of scheduling and automating virtually any computer-related task. The program is primarily used to automate a long list of routine tasks like copying, renaming, moving, deleting, or synchronizing files; checking e-mail (including multiple accounts); compressing or creating backups; launching and terminating applications and NT services; executing macros and shortcuts; rebooting, shutting down, ejecting and closing DVD/CD-ROMs; logging off, clearing memory, establishing RAS connection and much more. Another rich set of automation features xStarter offers works with HTTP and FTP protocol and includes checking connection (PING) uploading and downloading data, opening browsers, visiting websites, checking and sending emails and files, working with messages (local network or ICQ).
